B-6: FOR BOARD CONSIDERATION (PURSUANT TO RULE 12 OF RULES OF ORDER:=
(a) Approve the Rebuild Community-Based Businesses Grant Policy and Procedures as presented to help local, small businesses recover from the direct effects of civil unrest. (b) Approve a resolution in the form as presented to approve the form of Award Agreement to be entered into between the County and qualified applicants selected to receive funding under the Rebuild Community-Based Businesses Grant Program and authorizing the County Administrator or his or her designee to execute such form of agreement with such applicants. The maximum cost to the County for this Program is $3,000,000 through FY 21, beginning in FY 20. Funding for this initiative will be included in the Countywide and Unincorporated Area Economic Development Activity Funds in the Economic Development Department’s FY 22 planned budget. No additional County funds are required. Subject to approval of such budget and future budgets and appropriations, funding will be provided for this initiative through FY 21.
