TAMPA – The James A. Haley Veterans’ Administration Hospital has joined the Executive Board for Tampa !p (Innovation Partnership), a 200-plus member organization working to create a world-class live, work, study, play, and stay innovation district in the north Tampa/University area.
!p Chief Potential Officer, Mark Sharpe said, “The resources and expertise that the James A. Haley VA Hospital brings to our leadership group are impressive to say the least. Hospital Director, Joe Battle, brings experience in redevelopment projects and the hospital already has ideas in the works that will improve the area.”

“We’ve been working to expand and improve service for veterans and the community throughout the Tampa area for almost 50 years,” said Battle. “Now we’re looking forward to increasing collaboration with our neighboring institutions to develop the Innovation District for all our citizens through this private/public partnership.”
